Album Review-The Soil

So I've been sitting in front of this PC for the past 23 minutes with a blank Word document open trying to figure out how I'd start this post. I've been racking my brain on how I'd make you want to go get this album before the early bird even knows what done hit him! But my efforts have sadly been in vain, I haven't come up with any genius marketing strategies so I'll just tell my subjective truth about the album coz nanas, it's just THAT hectic...

Mandela great-grandchild passes away

Heartache has, once again, found it's way to and made a firm grip on the Mandela household. Zoleka Mandela's 3 month premature son who was born earlier this week has unfortunately made his way to the heavens. The infant's death follows that of Zoleka's first born daughter last year after the opening ceremony of the soccer world cup tournament. A reliable source confirmed the death of the little one soon after I posted Another great-granchild for Mandela yesterday evening.

My deepest condolences to the parents and both families.

Another great-grandchild for Mandela

Ululation should be order of the day in the Mandela camp. Mandela's granddaughter, Zoleka (who lost her daughter after the 2010 World Cup Opening ceremony) gave birth to a 3 month premature baby boy earlier this week. The father of the child is alleged to be 7de Laan actor Sekoati Tsubane who plays Kabelo on the Afrikaans soap.

Very rarely do I run into such talent, and I seldom take my imaginary hat off to young people in the entertainment industry. This isn't because I don't recognise the talent but because I take into consideration what this talent does after hours (snorting up off-white powders and drinking like they're of aquatic descent)! I chill with a lot of these young "stars" so I know exactly what I'm talking about. But then I came across these souls...The Soil. I hate being the bearer of doom, especially when it comes from the entertainment industry. Famed stunt crew, Jackass is unfortunately one team member less after a car accident in Pennsylvania that claimed the life of 34 year old Ryan Dunn.

This girl is as fierce and creative as they come! Who else can come up and write a song called "One plus One"? As in the maths 1+1....NOBODY BUT HER!
