Beckham's daughter scarred at birth

I swear if the Beckhams were South African they'd be Xhosa (they run the world when it comes to weird names...Notrain, Nomabarbwire etcetera, etcetera!). But since they're in the States now, they've managed to convince me that Hollywood turns people into weirdos, especially new parents. Seriously.
Yesterday I wrote about the Beckham's newest member in Victoria and Becks' welcome first daughter and they hadn't named the little one. But they have now, and boooy did they knock me for a six!
It's reported that naming the baby girl was a family affair. One would expect 5 heads to come up with a better name than Harper Seven Beckham! Like, REALLY???!

Poor kid!

Harper’s middle name, Seven, is her father’s “lucky number”, famously being his squad number for Manchester United and England. Number fixation is a well-known symptom of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), from which Beckham suffers. A family friend said: “Victoria and David only came up with the name at the last minute. CLEARLY.

“It’s a very lucky number for David and he has always wanted to name one of his children Seven.
“It was obviously David’s number at Manchester United and she was born at 7.55am, during the seventh month of the year and weighing 7lb 10oz, so it made perfect sense to them.
"Harper is the name of a character from Disney series Wizards Of Waverly Place, the boys’ favourite TV show.Victoria loved it because it’s an Olde English name and even though Harper is an American by birth, she will always have English roots.”


This just goes to show you can't have super stylish parents and a name that won't be the cause of childhood victimisation! The Gods just wouldn't allow for that much luck!
